| Over a year ago, former members of the rock group altaRego decided to create a project that would break boundaries and push their musical creativity to new limits. A few songs and some electric gear soon became a live stage show that entertained old fans and intrigued new ones. With the collaborative effort of other local musicians (Adrian Esguerra formerly of The Glasses and the vocal talant of Bee Simonds) the release of their three song demo earned them the privilege of being part of the Nadamucho.com Global Seepej Records "Sounds from Seattle's Underground" Compilation CD, featuring some of the Northwest's fastest rising acts. Most recently, C-Leb and A-Bro performed in Seattle Weekly's REVERBFEST along with 64 of Seattle's hottest bands including Mono in VCF, Aqueduct, Grayskul, and Truckasaurus to name a few. C-Leb and A-Bro's sound emits remnants of early Prince, Pet Shop Boys, Bowie, and Devo. They combine organic instrumentation including harmonica, percussion, and vocals with the element of on-stage theatrics to create a performance that livens the retro-electro sound at every show. The love for their craft is apparent in every piece of work including the design and production of their debut album, "Broke Downtown". |
